A planned airline for Africa and beyond
Bosolo Airways is a South African registered airline in formation. It is not yet operational: we are preparing to connect African markets and beyond, and to carry the pride of the Congo to the world.
Our story
Bosolo Airways was founded in Johannesburg by aviation and business professionals who saw the same problem again and again across Africa: thousands of travellers, traders and families move between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo every month, yet the air links serving them — and many other African city pairs — remain limited, expensive and inconsistent.
"Bosolo" means truth in Lingala. It is the standard we hold ourselves to — in our pricing, our schedules, our maintenance and our dealings with partners and regulators.
The company is newly established and has not yet started operations. There are no flights, schedules or fares on sale today. Every element of the airline — fleet, network, certification and capital — is being built deliberately, in the correct order, with experienced advisors alongside us.
