About us
A new airline for an old friendship
Bosolo Airways is a South African registered aviation company created to connect Southern and Central Africa — and to carry the pride of the Congo to the world.
Our story
Bosolo Airways was founded in Johannesburg by aviation and business professionals who saw the same problem again and again: thousands of travellers, traders and families move between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo every month, yet the air links serving them remain limited, expensive and inconsistent.
"Bosolo" means truth in Lingala. It is the standard we hold ourselves to — in our pricing, our schedules, our maintenance and our dealings with partners and regulators.
The company is newly established and has not yet started operations. Every element of the airline — fleet, network, certification and capital — is being built deliberately, in the correct order, with experienced advisors alongside us.
Bosolo Airways est une compagnie aérienne enregistrée en Afrique du Sud, créée pour relier l'Afrique australe et l'Afrique centrale. La société est en phase de lancement et n'a pas encore commencé ses opérations.
Our mission
To provide safe, affordable and dependable air travel and air freight between South Africa, the DR Congo and the wider world.
Our vision
To become the most trusted airline serving the Congolese market and a recognised flag-bearer of Congolese excellence in African aviation.
